@mlcarter815 OCZ are gold star (I believe), the one that over heated within the first 6 months.

@jer_1 Yeah I was considering buying one of their heatpipe PSU's I'd only recommend what I've used personally though.

@edussz Granted it wouldn't run the latest games on the highest settings but it'll still outclass a 360 or PS3 hands down.

I would strongly recommend upgrading to a corsair PSU if you choose to build a rig like this as in my experience every other high performance PSU dies or develops some kind of problem within 6 - 12 months (Been through 3 in the last year alone, first flat out died, second had and internal component rubbing on the ran making a hell of a noise).

@rgrambo Just curious as to how this is too localised? I have always been under the impression that PC components are the same wherever you live.

What I want from an MMO is a giant persistent world with the dynamics of earth, for example, terrain manipulation (digging/piling dirt) destructible and regenerating environments, real time/skill based combat, fun (not a grind). Basically I want Skyrim mixed with some elements of WoW, Battlefield and Red Faction Guerilla.

What they said was true, last gen consoles are practiacally PC's of their generation (you're comparing last gen consoles to current gen PC's as BF3 is a current Gen PC game). I'd expect the next xbox to be capable of running a full blown version of BF3.Case in point - Buy a gaming PC and start looking down on console dwellers! :)
