Ok, now that we know that WAR came out even before WoW then this is my question. Why didn't they took the risk of launching before than WoW? Is it because they didn't want to take the risk? Just because WoW unravel the potential business in mmo then they're going to jump in also and whining about they're the first to be in the first place. They should have took the risk, but they didn't coz they wanted to be safe from failure and see what happens if someone took they're concept and see if it becomes a success. Now that they'd seen enough, they also wanted to get in our pockets. They always say that they listen very carefully to the players if thats so true, then why didn't they give it to the players before the best of what they got? Much deeper in storyline and everything but they didn't have the guts to do it in the first generation of mmo's.
@world69star69 My rig is low man. And I don't have the money to buy an upgrade or buy a new rig. If its cheap to upgrade or buy new rig for you then maybe you can spare me one of your videocards or any upgrades that you may want to give to me so that I can play Warhammer online. I'm from Asia by the way and holidays are coming.
We all know its roots is based in PvP and RvR and when you say online, we always deal with lag issues especially if we're too far away from the region or where the server is. lol Given the chance to play the game would require tremendous effort to come-up with a rig that's in mid range to high-end system to fully play the game to what is it supposed to be. And the big factor of one hell of a connection. We can see that EA only wants this game only available for the mature bracket of players just like what AoC has. The ones that doesn't need money anymore, just to burn in to some newly rig/videocard that launches in the market every now and then. In the end, even though I really wanted to try this game I'm afraid I'm just gonna pass for it. Why? It's like requiring me to buy the worlds expensive diamond before I can marry someone. I'm going to pay for it just like my mmo, thats fair but buying new rig and upgrading my internet connection just to pawn everyday and everytime I play of my playtime is not appealing to me. Can I pawn someone in my current mmo? Yes. What's got to do with RvR if I'm going to lag like hell. There's more mmo games coming like Aion, DC universe, Guild Wars 2 and many more. I'm not going to dive into the hyped. So I'm cool... Chill... ^^.
