As a Zelda Music fan I have been totally excited about the orchestrated music in the newest game....so much so that I am going to start a contest soon that involves that very thing....this post will be posted on Gamespot Forums, and countless other places to open up the competition. ! lucky son of a gun will earn a free copy of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for submiting a remixed version of the e3 2005 trailer, or a song that they would like to be in the new Zelda game. The rules are simple,
A multi track recording keyboard is needed
No sound tolls can be used all music must come from said keyborad (no mixing software) recorded at the best bps you can.
All music must contain a zelda theme of some kind, original work without the zelda feel will not be considered, you'll be notifed if such and given pointers on where the song needs imporvments before the deadline.
Music taken from other sites...or found to be originally posted on Remix webistes such as VGmix (this one) and OCR Remix will be disqualified.
Following Zelda sheet music is not allowed...work must be original yet Zelda like. Preview preview at a later date

After looking for a server I have come to the conclusion that it would be better if contestants hosted thier own MP3's, just provide a link to "YOUR" song. The link will be sent to an email address that i will provide later...and to ensure that the song is "YOUR" song...i will do extensive background checking and also ask you to provide spacific information about the song....all of which will be randomized...but to be fair this is what i will ask:
I will ask 3 of the following 10 What are the Bps of the song? What was the original Title? Have you submited this song on a Remix website (you shouldn't have prior to entry) What is the leading Instrument? What Piano have you used? What is the Piano's output functions, and does it have a disc drive? What Zelda Themes have you used in this song? What part of the game would your song fit? What is the total running time of the song? What's the most toughest part of your song to play? Give the clock time, like "02:23:78 to 02:54:34 was hard for me"
also runners up will have thier songs burned to a CD and sent to Nintendo of Japan's offices to be reviewed by the Zelda music team Koji Kondo included.....i will send off a total 10 songs, so that is 11 winners (1 grand prize, 10 runner ups), plus to ensure you get credit for your songs runners up and the winner will email a personal letter to me so that i may include it in the package to nintendo.
thanks for your time and makes some noise...also a preview song will be up soon so that you get a feel of what i am looking for, contest entry will be accepted Sept 15-Oct 30. Winners will be annouced November 10 2005, expect 2-3 weeks for delivery of prizes.
