[QUOTE="Haziqonfire"]I dont know why people argue about sales really. Its just to show that their favourite console is the most popular i guess.donwoogie
Sales are important to consider if you really like a game. Think about it this way, suppose you found a really niche game that you loved and was absolutely great. If the sales for it aren't great, the dev will either go out of business, or just develop a new IP or fundamentaly change the gameplay to attract sales and revenue. Obviously, if the game sells well, then the dev will have more funds to make an even better game with the same principles simply because there is a market out there for that type of game and at the end of the day, they are out to make money primarily as is their job.
You can consider sales to be secondary to the quality of the game as I do, but to say they are irrelevant to anyone but fanboys is simply short-sightedness bordering on being pretentious imo
[QUOTE="bigevil_rashek"]I mean console sales not game sales, do console sales make you happy, say if your console is the best selling one(1st in the race), does taht make people happy, or could people be happy woth the console being 2nd or 3rd?

Yes. Sales equals revenues which will then be used to improve the console further. If there was no competitive market, advancements would not come nearly as often as they do.
I think I love this man... in a purely platonic way of course. He basically said what I was going to before I did and in a better way.
It has crappy online , piss poor graphics , dumb AI and the least amount of AAA and AA titles. I think it is a disgrace to gaming and i don't see it as a real seventh generation console. kaangonultas
Meh, a weak troll, 2 out of 10 at most.
[QUOTE="FireEmblem_Man"]Sheeps? What's a Sheeps? :?Falcon4AF_Ace
