[QUOTE="fathertroy"][QUOTE="MindFreeze"]Pretty sure that is just the standard rookie look in the GEARS unit.Elann2008

ya.. i think there were like 3 carmines who died in the first.... i dont know if they are the same guy=ressu abilities

There was no actual evidence that Carmine died. No one yelled out, "Nooooo Carmine!" or anything of that nature. I'm more than sure, those were just the common soldiers. Carmine is back. :P

...Except for the fact that Carmine was the one that got HIS FREAKING BRAINS blown out by a sniper when he was complaining about his gun being jammed. This dude with a helmet is a new dude with a helmet. Undoubtedly he'll just get blown to bits since if characters have nothing distinctive about them in anything (like Red shirts in star Trek) they die.

Yup. Oblivion and Mass Effect blew my mind, and hopefully Fable 2 and Mass effect 2 will do the same. Fable 2's online co-op with friends sounds really fun, and if they make different difficulty settings, it will be awesome!!

*sigh* Fanboys....What can you do with them?

Don't get me wrong, the Wii is my favorite system, but please stop being such a fanboy, trashing the 360 with claims such as the fact that Wii sports comes free with the Wii, which makes it outsell Halo....It makes you sound stupid.

While you're right about it being assumed that every wii owner will purchase at least 1 Wii game...So? It can be assumed that event hough the 360 has fewer sales in hardware, it's still beating it out in software, in terms of more people buying more games. This is probably because while the Wii does have quite a few simply amazing gmaes on it, almost all of them are made by Nintendo. Most games on the Wii are shovelware minigame collections. That is until developers completely stop making money by using gimmicky controls for the Wii to accomplish mundane tasks and decide to create rich, deep games.

So, the Wii wins with hardware, 360 wins with software, PS3 loses overall. Everybody but fanboys is happy!

Even if it is "Fair-play" its still pretty stupid, it just makes you look as if you can't win by actually using some real skill... and if you do use it then nobody likes playing with you...Tailscoolio

Couldn't have said it better myself. Whenever I'm in a match with snakers, I just quit. I can snake (who can't?) but it really takes away the fun of the game for me. But hey, if you like exploiting things, then whatever. I hope that if they intentionally allow snaking in MKWii (God no!) then they at least make separate lobbies for snaking and non-snaking, like in restaurants with smoking or non-smoking sections. That would solve that problem.

I'm going back to the Fire Emblem and Advance Wars game all of the time. There's some really great games on the GBA.

I've gotta say MoH:H2. It proves that the wii can handle lots of people online, even if it's through EA. I hope they'll make another MoH for the wii, with better graphics, ragdoll effects, more weapons, more balanced weapons (thompsons are annoying, and n00bs can use them without even trying and kill pros who use sniper rifles, BARs, StG44s, etc, and m1 Bazookas take 0 skill to use, and can kill the opponent from lie 5 feet away but not kill the dude holding it. WTF?) If they did all that, and made a single player that didn't blow, then it would probably be one of my favorite games ever. Oh, and voice chat with ur teammates. MoH;H2 was a soldi start, but ther e could be a lot of improvemnets.

[QUOTE="bob_newman"]No, it didn't change my view on the game. It's not my type of game, so the only way I would've even rented it is if the game got remarkably high numbers (From everyone, not just 1 review). And I say that because I wouldn't buy this game whether it got good reviews or bad, so unless everybody was saying that it's amazing, I wouldn't try it. This genre just doesn't really interest me. That's just my opinion, of course.Sants412
Finally, someone who feels the exact same way as I do.

Wait, wh'd you make a topic about a game whose genre you don't care about? That's really...peculiar.

The game seems very dissappointing.

The online is weak accept for Coop mode, the motion sensing isnt utilized to full potential. Why didnt they use mouse like controls, they used buttons again to choose characters. They could have done it a little bit like AoE. Where you highlight which characters you want. Its sad because the game was OOZING with potential. I can see it getting a very low score GS.

Duckman5

Oh I'm sorry I hadn't realized you played it and beat it already.

That's what I was gonna say! Anyways, that review doesn't change my thoughts in the least. Nintnedo Power generally has a good understanding of games (a lot better than Gamespot), but sometime's you just have to go with your gut instinct. What ifsomeone gave Advance Wars: Day of Ruin a 6.5 because they didn't like the new art style? Would you go on that and miss out on one of the best-looking strategy games on the DS? I sure wouldn't.

I personally loved Star Fox Command b/c of the tactics and ability to move freely. If they make a Wi-Fi Battle mode (free movement) and an epic story line (on the rails) with th wii's controls, I'll be in heaven.

P.S. Krystal is a fox. She's not hot. she's not even human. If you think she's hot, you have issues.
