Hey man if you got your 360 at best buy and got a warranty through them all you have to do is bring the receipt up there and they give you a new 360 and they will even let you switch out harddrives..my cousin has had to do this twice
Although this was a totally amazing year to be an xbox 360 gamer i think that 2008 will hold alot more,for example gta4,midnight club:LA,MafiaII,Saints Row 2, and the amazing Unreal Tournement 3,
I think the acheivement system adds alot more fun into games because its like you are getting rewarded for playing games and beating missions this is one of the main reasons i didnt purchase a ps3,becasue it seems boring to play a game hours on end and get absolutely no recognition.
