[QUOTE="Jxy"]Nice. Good refresh rate and everything I assume? Dell's monitors tend to be very good for gaming.AP11689Doesnt necessarily have to be a Dell. It can be anything as long as it has high contrast ratio, fast refresh rate, and small dot pitch. PWNED I know that it doesn't have to be Dell. I was just saying that in general, Dell's monitors have all the necessary specs to be good for gaming.

Nice setup Jxy, the only thing you need is a good flat panel LCD TV that use can use as TV/monitor. Damn I need to ask someone for a digital camera, to show off my setup :PD3s7rUc71oNYeah, I'm debating which one I should get, but I need one because I'm going to have to bring my own TV to college next year... this big-ass TV isn't going to cut it. There's the weight issue, and then there's the whole "My TV doesn't even support S-Video" thing. I just need that LCD, some more imports, and then I'm set.
It's not about spending a lot of money -- it's about spending money efficiently. I buy all my games new and I've gotten over 50 games this year (many of which are rarer... such as all the Shin Megami Tensei games and some imports) and I've still spent under $1000 on gaming which is pretty good considering how much stuff I got out of that. Watch Ebay and always look out for deals on stuff. Avoiding spending money on games that are only decent or simply not excellent games is also a very good tactic. So basically, if you're smart about how you're spending money, you can pay bills, get a good gaming collection, and still have a ton of money left for other stuff.[QUOTE="Jxy"][QUOTE="AcydRaine"]:o  :o Damn dude don't you have bills to pay :P Where do you guys get the money for all this stuffdvader654
Pretty much, over the summer I have bough like 9 or 10 games, none at full price (not one used), many at clearances and probably spent under $200.
BTW excellent setup. This reminds me that I have to update my setup, I got some new racks to hold my games.
I need some new racks... mine are fine constructionwise, but there's just too much stuff now. I've gotta get rack that'll bring people to their knees and make them cry tears of joy... or something like that. The setup's already outdated too... I got Valkyrie Profile Lenneth today, My Hime Vol. 3, Neo Geo Battle Coliseum (Ps2 Import) came in the mail today, and I'm expecting to get Rez, Ninja Five-0 (supposed to be as good as the legendary Shinobi and Ninja Gaiden old school games), Gradius V, and possibly some other stuff that I just forgot about on Monday.i like that sweeped floor of yours jyx gamingqueenIt's the pride of my collection.

updated later in thread.
Ummm... get it un-chipped! I'm not even sure if that's possible, but try it out.NavyBoy85
That wouldn't work, especially considering that the mod chip isn't to blame in the first place.
Chrono Cross
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Suikoden I and II and Valkyire Profile (these are out in Japan, VP is unofficially announced for the US but I haven't heard anything on Suikoden yet.)
Really though, I'd like to see the PSP get some original games since nearly all the good games on the system are ports or remakes.
