To me, this timeline seems to make perfect sense except for the placement of twilight princess and windwaker. It has been a while since I played them...

I love this album. Makes me feel high when I'm sober, and when I'm high it's mind blowing.
First of all, this topic is not about the art style. I happen to think the art style is very nice.
However, although the environments look FANTASTIC, the character models and spell animations look pretty bad IMO. I know this is because there is so much going on on screen and because of Blizzards constant philosophy of making games playable on low end machines, but every time I watch gameplay footage all I see is the clash of the fantastic environments with the bland models and animations.
Production values and user experience, yes.[QUOTE="JudiMcJude"]Makes sense. So, production values I guess.UnnDunn
Ok, thanks. That pretty much clears this issue up for me. Price is very reasonable but the service doesnt seem to be a fit for me especially not with the current hardware. Maybe when the next xbox comes along...
In regards to MW2 users is the keypoint for that game and xbox live, the user base, I've watched the psn version played and there just seems to be more people on xbox live in this game then the ps3 version which gurantee's you games at any time of the night.
I all so think you'll get much more quality gametime on 360 with quite competent players on xbox live in an fps game compared to the ps3 version.WilliamRLBaker
I've been playing a lot of MW2 lately (on ps3) and have never had trouble getting a group, even as late as 4am (I feel dirty). As for quality of players, I can't say because I have no reference point.
With regard to MW2 specifically, Xbox Live and PSN are almost identical. In both cases, MW2 merely uses them for player authentication, before funnelling players into its own-rolled matchmaking system. So you'll get a nearly identical experience on PSN or Xbox Live.
But in a general sense, Xbox Live usually provides better matchmaking and tighter community aspects than PSN does. As long as the game supports XBL properly (ie. by implementing features like TrueSkill, stats, parties and more--MW2 doesn't implement them.)

So I gather xbox live is really only better for the hardcore gamer. Someone who is really into online multiplayer, clans and all that stuff. For someone more casual like myself xbox live is more like overkill?
