I don't really understand why everyone is talking about a new engine.The source engine is the goldsrc engine, just a heavily improved one.Valve even said, that when hl2 came out, some of the code in the source engine still was from the quake engine, where they based the goldsrc engine on.That's so impressive about source, it's actually 12 years old, heavily improved, but still looks great.

I really hope the 'Big News' isn't just gonna be some apple crap. Because I think it's quite suspicious (pam pam pam) that they say 'it's not interesting for xbox 360 and ps3' and not just 'it's interesting for pc'. And...why does everyone believe that mail from Gabe, I mean...his answer is awfull short plus he replied 16 minutes after he got mailed.
