@midnight_trashh Skyrim in depth? That's a matter of opinion, really. To me, Skyrim is a shallow game in all aspects: combat, character development, npc interactions, quests and so forth. Dark Souls never pretends to have a deeply interactive story; instead, it focuses on tense exploration and strategic combat. Still, both games have very different focuses despite being labeled rpgs. What makes a game better than the other is your own personal taste.
