considering I've never been able to get into a final fantasy and Zelda happens to be my favorite franchise... I'm gonna go with they're not comparable.
I too am looking to get into the industry (in the middle of applying for film school right now, deadline soon) and can assure you that Windows Movie Maker is a terrible program lol. but stick with it, study film, film history, techniques, the artistic aspects, watch lots of movies, and keep all that in your head and incorporate it into your films. keep at it. also, Write as much as you can to see if you can translate that to the frame. I don't know exactly how selective it is in terms of finding jobs, its essentially all about networking. but film school allows you to network a great deal. see you in hollywood? ha
