Well, we don't know if R2 will get here before KZ2. I sure hope not actually. That could kill a lot of interest in KZ2. I'm thinking KZ2 will see a summer/early fall release. And R2 will probably come out a month or two later & probably be a holiday 09 release title. I think it would be smart for Sony to make it a holiday title like Uncharted was this year!

But yea, one of the advantages of being one of the first devs with a game on the PS3... they've been able to just make improvements to their existing engine. Whereas Guerilla is still building their tech from scratch.

I actually agree with you there; KZ2 and R2, can't come out within atleast 3 months of each in order for both to be successful. Sony is obviously pushing Killzone to be the best fps on the market, throwing Guerilla enormous* funds and resources for development.(*Alteast for a video game). Both games seem to be taking the squad-based gameplay route, with R2 obviously offering that but on a larger scale. Let's just hope both can have exceptional gameplay yet be different enough to justify buying both games.
