I didn't like the aiming either. Or that there's no separate crouch button, unless I missed it. A regular cover systemlikeGearsorVegas would have been better. The concept is cool though.
The environment looked ok, everything else looked like crap. The movements of everything looked horrible, and the combat looked really really boring and bad.
Definately does not look good. Since 2k's bball games have always rocked I'll give them a break on this, but......they've always had a problem with jaggies. Someone needs to introduce them to anti-aisling.
I wouldn't call the game "broken", there's no one big glaring issue it has. But there's so many little things that happen like the excessive fumbles and ints, the psychic warping defenders the OP talked about, and other little bugs that it's enough combined to suck the fun out of it for me. It's too bad because the game has a lot of high points and things it does right.
I think they're taking the opposite approach of EA. EA pimps their games early and often. 2k was pretty largely silent on All Pro Football up until a few weeks before realease, expect the same for NBA 2k8.
IIRC, that Umbra chick wore ebony armor. I haven't played the game in a while though so I could be wrong. She's a bit southeast of the Imprerial City in a little shrine thingy. Right across the little bridge I believe.
I havent' seen any games I would qualify as "good" under 20. I have seen a few under 30 though like BF2MC, Saint's Row if you need that type of game to hold you off until GTAIV. The first Ghost Recon and CoD2 are under 30 now as well.
Just a lot more boxers from past and present. Don't want to name them all. Also a decent career mode and I don't know if they have this since I never played it online but online boxing tournaments and also a mode where it's like real life so you have online champions for all the different weight classes and you can take your created character online and fight your way to the top.
You guys must be playing a different game than me cause I thought it was awesome. They completely stripped it down to make it smaller and so you can just focus on how the gameplay has changed. And it feels like a completely different game. Blocking AI has been tremendously improved and the animaitons and tackles look great. 60 fps is sweet.
