Can agree Sony had a bad start with Ps3 but when this generation is over i doubt we will look back and remember Ps3 as a bad system.
360 with faulty hardware and with a 1year headstart and great games and still it sold poorly.
Wii Nintendo's worse system ever and still it have some good games and sell more than it should.
Ps3 will be the console winner or be very even at 2nd place.
People dont want buy things that break down like 360 does thats the main reason it sells bad and will end up 3rd place.

You totally get it wrong. If you look @ hardware and power then you are right that the Wii is the worst. But if you look at it from gameplay perspective it's nothing less than genius. I dont know where you get your info, but the 360 has sold well, the PS3 will sell (is selling) well to.
And about the PS3 blu-ray drive. It's a nice extra but if HD-DVD becomes the winner in the format-war then you'll have a system with a drive which will not play the standard. On the other hand, if blu-ray wins and the drive still works then you've got a blu-ray drive. But then again, most people won't have a FULL-HD tv until the prices drop and that's will take year or two. So most owners will just play it on a HD-ready (bijv 1024x768) or on a 'normal' tv and will not take advatage of the full GFX power of both systems which again doesn't differ that much in practice.
From gamedev perspective Microsoft has a big advantage and that's called Visual Studio which is the best Dev Environmet available.
I looked at both systems and compared GFX of the same game. They don't look that different, the one system does this thing better, the other system something else.
