In a video game, to say the fans had nothing to do with a "3" in a series is silly, especially with EA. This game wouldn't exist if fans hadn't enjoyed (and more importantly, purchased) the first two. Also, why does it have to be it's original creator's version in order to be art? Can't the community and the developer create something beautiful together and have it still be art?
This is ridiculous. Get over it. If what she is talking about is what people want then the sales (or lack of) will do all the talking. I personally think both the interactive and dialogue parts of a game should be part of the narrative. One is handed to you, the other is one you help create. If you don't make games that make both parts fun, then I'll past and just watch a movie for much cheaper.
@sombradagato It is hilarious that these are the EDITORS of Gamespot and this video starts with the Wii U logo and is in the Xbox 360 section. Totally agree.
The online codes are bonuses received for buying a game new is plenty of incentive for me to continually buy games new. I think that the "nickel and dime" method works for me... Plus I feel all warm and fuzzy for supporting developers!
Also, anybody notice how Xbox360 is now the first tab at the top? Shouldn't it go PC first, then the consoles? Just... Categorically or chronologically that seems to make sense.
These opinions on Sony are really starting to make me lose my faith in GameSpot's ability as journalists to write without bias. I understand they are "opinion articles" but there hasn't been one that seems to keep it real. Just read MGS_fan_2015 and Balmane 's comments below... Totally agree.
I think social games are great. Why does everyone seem to feel like they are an attack on the hardcore gamers? If anything, maybe they will get more people interested in gaming...
I liked all these announcements, but ya, where is MGS Rising and Alan Wake? And New SMB Wii, Mario Galaxy 2, and Zelda were way more memorable than the vitality sensor...
