@gottago42: I just like PS better - I dont hate microsoft (and I own a 360) I just wanted it to come out on PS4 as well (at first I thought Rise was coming out only for XONE) I may get xone one day but have no intentions to any time soon but Im in no way a fanboy (considering I play PC, handhelds, Nintendo and PS consoles) I just get them all (or most of them) and enjoy whatever titles reguardless (I guess growing up I was close to being a nintendo fan boy but that was b/c it was Sega vs Nintendo and I couldnt stand sega consoles and it was a personal bias) but that was many years ago...as I've been gaming for 25+ years - but never have I dissed/bashed another platform or console/handheld (whatever) b/c 1 company or the other makes it - personally I could give a shit less but I just prefer PS consoles (always have) sony + nintendo + PC gaming in general imo is far more then what I need to keep my gaming time occupied but I have enjoyed plenty of Microsoft titles as well and the first generation xbox (never owned it but played on it via friends for years off/on) and I've owned 2 360s in its lifespan (including one of the first 20g white models back in early 2006) - and the later 2013 model (250G HD - slim x360 which is what I currently still have) - but I still prefer consoles (PS2 was my alltime favorite) but meh to each their own I respect everyones opinion...cause thats all it really is only "facts" are spreadsheets and statistics based on under the hood numbers/parts - and I dont get too technical when it comes to gaming 1080p vs 900p - and 1 runs in 30FPS vs 60fps (I understand what all that means hell I sold TVs for a living for several years) but ...I just dont care console vs PC - or 1 console vs the other - who gives a shit...it didnt matter in 1992 (to me atleast) and it surely doesnt matter now (I got along just fine with 16bit games on cartridges 23-24 years ago) I'm sure I can do just pleased with what they have to offer nowadays (on any console) I just prefer PS (without sounding redundant) but I realize both platforms have something for gamers - and I'm sure at some point I'll own a XONE - I've just seen more (some of the metroidvania -retro indie titles) to the bigger Bloodborne (and Final Fantasy XIV Online: A Realm reborn to second son) all of which (and my personal near 19 year relationship w/ PS consoles) I just trust and have known about/played on PS longer so in many ways its a bias because sony came first (atleast as far as console development, release is concerned)
@rad6666 im buying ps4 for other things like bloodborne, axiom verge, witcher 3 (which will run better on ps4) not for racing games, I own a 360 and maybe one day I'll get and xone I get whatever consoles interest me...and being PS4 has outsold over the course of the last 16 months (minus 2 months were xone came ahead saleswise) I'm not a fanboy I play PC/handheld/consoles so It doesnt matter to me personally but I prefer the ps4, even IF the ps4 has FH2 thats not a deal-breaker for me I havent played a racing title in years, though I admit I enjoyed Forza 4, so I'm sure this is a great game but now its 2015, and with big titles on the horizon (no pun intended) like Witcher 3, I ...cant see spending $300-$350 for a console just to get horizon 2 when most of my time is occupied between diablo on PC, and soon (to be) witcher 3 on PS4...maybe few more months down the road I'll nab a cheap Xone bundle, I'm not biased or a fanboy as I've said but I do prefer sony (always have) but I also enjoy nintendo and other platforms (handheld/PC gaming as well)
@dani_i89 @Terminator95 Id still rather have a PS4, BUT I admit this game looks good and I would definetly like to give it a try I own a 360, and I'm not a fanboy by any means Diablo on PC, Handheld Nintendo titles, Wii U, 360, PS4 - I just dont have atm time or money to invest into Xone (along with everything I already have) but I admit FH2 does peak my curiosity (and I haven't had a racing game in god knows how long) I'm usually on RPGs, or action/adventure games but I lately have been in a sort of 'state' where I wanna play a racing game, I dont care about the techinal aspects sim racing, vs arcade w/e - but this does look great, seems to run great too last demo of a racing game I had was Forza 4 which I liked, but seems this game is more along my lines
@yasso Again that is all opinion/conjecture - I agree with what your saying (or at the very least understand it) not saying you are wrong, or I am right, that isn't the point - but all this talk (and I've heard it now for 10 years, a decade) "this game is superior to WOW in every category, blah blah" or "this game offers more enjoyable, far more satisfactory content by far blah blah" "in the mmog arena this new title, is newer, most cost effective and enjoyable at the end of the day blah blah" I've heard all those arguments about 1 MMO or another...yet (the fact still remains) the UNARGUABLE fact, the undeniable fact that WOW (still after a decade + 2 months) is still the best selling MMO and STILL controls a substantial % of the market ...what was it as of last concensus ? October 2014, literally just 3 months ago, 1 month before the 10th anniversary - and 1 month before the release of the 5th expansion - a 61% control of the entire online rpg market - (including games that are playable through an online/broadband connection along with a pay-to-play subscription. Now I quit WOW years ago as well (2010) I played for about 6 1/2 years, enjoyed it especially the first few years w/ a GUILD (high end guild on a day-1 launch server) stayed on the same server (Uldum-alliance PVE) for the entire 6 + years (off and on of course) about 380 game days around the time I quit (around Cata - never got to enjoy Panda OR this current Incarnation) this isn't an argument, or anything I don't sling insults I'm just saying the fact still remains (its like an argument about how SOMEONE may in their own personal humble opinion think Xbox One is superior to Playstation 4 (yet the PS4 outsells and has continued to outsell the XONE since release date in 2013 so the reality is - all this is conjecture/opinion (everyone is entitled to one) but yet the fact still remains like with anything but I do agree with you on that one (then again I love diablo) but outside of D/D2/D3 I Havent touched a PC game in quite awhile, I'm not a fanboy I don't choose consoles over PC or handhelds, I have them all (ps3, ps4, x360, 3ds XL, PS vita, pc (desktop/all-in-one), tablet (ipadair 2), wii, wii u - and multiple controllers, a gamestop rewards credit card, and reward zone membership Gold, + game informer monthly subscription magazine - so Its fair to say I've been a gamer since my single digit years, early gradeschool...IE 1988, 1989 (NES for xmas) and every year thereafter new games, controllers, devices, etc (I've owned every major Nintendo and Sony home console system and the first 2 Xbox incarnations (only the xbox one is the only system I do not currently own) and its not because I don't think it doesn't have quality content or future potential just not interested at the current moment I missed a lot of games from the current/past 7th gen...so I'm playing a lot of games I've missed (and could easily spend another few years w/ the current systems I have w/o ever touching a Xone...besides despite me saying I'm not a fanboy (and I don't choose sides) I DO have to admit I enjoy playstation content over the years (just my personal experience) and Nintendo (and yes over the years many PC games, several MMOs) my first real one being a few years before WOW was released (like 2000-2001) FFXI Online for a few years, and of course Diablo franchise (which doesn't qualify as an MMO obviously but still an online arena/adventure rpg or action rpg w/ randomly generated content) I've enjoyed a wide gambit of games across handhelds, PC, PC-like counterparts, consoles (and I don't care about which system, or which "genre" is more powerful then the other (the whole PC is superior race bullshit) Doesn't matter...but anyway I agree with what you say, just the fact is fact with the popularity of WOW (even though it has waned in recent years, and even loss a few million subscribers NONETHELESS it still has far more then the average MMO (whatever that is considered to be).
