Personally i'm all for a remake every now and again provide the game in which they are remaking is a good say 10 + years old. I think for me Sapphire and Ruby re still too recent to remake. I enjoyed them and still play them on the DS Lite but who knows what might happen in the future.
Very good series, got into it late when Trials and Tribulations came out. Managed to track down all the games now and love them. Looks great on the DSI XL screen very vibrant and I love the the manga style to it all.

There's a yellow and black dsi xl? I have not heard of such a thing. I thought there was only like 4 colours, weird browny color, weird pinkish Colour, blue and possibly 1 more. lizzie1238
The UK got 3 new colours recently, blue, green and yellow. We don't have a pink or blue DSI XL over here.
I like it but I picked up the new yellow and black DSI XL not 2 weeks ago so will be giving it a miss. If I knew it was out like 2 weeks ago I would have waited and got it instead, but oh well.
I will be getting both but its more about Revelations rather than Mercenaries though. Too scary, I haven't been properly scared at a RE game since Lisa Trevor in REmake I hope its up to the same standards.
