If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

In order to drop the cost of the PS3 they had to take something out of it, which happend to be the PS2 hardware. They wanted the PS3 to be around the same price range as their competitors (Microsoft) so that is what they had to do. Honestly, if people wanted a PS3 with backwards compatibility then they should have gotten the 60 GB when they had a chance. There was a time when the 60 GB were sitting on the floors of stores waiting for someone to purchase them. And now they are in high demand because they were fully backwards compatible with PS2 games. All I have to say is, you guys had your chance.

GOOD GAMES , EXCLUSIVE GAMES AND ALL TYPES OF GAMES MAKE A POWERFUL CONSOLE ! PERFECT EXAMPLES ARE THE

PS2, WII AND XBOX 360 SYSTEMS !!!!!!!! MAYBE AT THE END OF THE YEAR OR NEXT YEAR THE PS3 SYSTEM WILL BE A POWERFUL CONSOLE .

Alfred91

ok using that logic how exactly is the wii powerful? I mean which games would you classify as good exclusives? that you know non 2y.o's would enjoy

Are you serious? The Wii has nothing but excellent exclusives: Mario Galaxy, Metriod Prime Corruption, Zelda, and the latest Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Now, those aren't just "good" exclusives, they are "excellent" exclusives. What does age have to do with the Wii anyways? I'm 24 and I enjoy the Wii and the games on it, am I not supposed to because you think I'm too old for it?

Sixaxis is just another gimmick to get people to buy Sony's crap PS3. Just like the "cell" and RSX; just like that bull$hit killzone 2 trailer in 2005 which they tried to make everybody believe was real. Well congratulations, all you suckers fell for it and wasted $600. At least you can have fun with your sixaxis playing Lair :p

tommcruise

Have fun with your rumble function being used as a vibrator.

Ha ha ha, nice one!

I just got the game tonight, but I haven't opened it yet...I was too busy playing WarHawk. I'll bust it out tomorrow, though.

I just got my DS3 in today. I must say, it feels good to have some rumble in your hands. So far, my controller works perfectly. I've only tried it with Resistance, but so far so good. No compalints from me.

Wow...not being able to press forward blows. If you apply a little pressure on the stick it should work, but still it is defective. I just filed a complaint with them. They say you have to ship it back yourself and stuff. Dam how do I ship the package to Hong Kong?WongB

Put it in a "to-go" container?

I rent my games at blockbuster. I'm actually surprised that it hasn't been a common answer.
