OP sounds really silly in his post.  He puts down pc version because it a port.. therefore, worst case scenario you're playing the same game on better hardware.  PTD is simply amazing, I couldn't be happier with this game.

I will give you the armor set for 2 standard slabs.  I haven't had a chjance to really use the new daggers so i dont want to give them up just yet.  let me know, gfwl: HunterSCtv

I'm really enjoying the PC version on a competitive level without any mods at all.

It's a tough call choosing between steam and a hard copy.. I would like the box and extras, maybe even a CE, but in that case I cannot play at midnite !!

i was a huge fan of demon souls but had to pass on this because i hade only enough money to get TW2 and skyrim. when i finally decided to get it they annouced the PC version so i'm getting it instead. well my questions are : 1.did they annouce the recommended requirements yet? and is the PC version going to have supirior graphics? 2.is this harder than demon souls? 3.How does it take to finish the whole game(no multiplayer)? 4.is it possible for someone to play online with another using a different console? that's about it... pardon my english...evil-zodiark

1.  I don't know but in theory it shouldn't require anything too powerful simply because PS3 uses 6 year old hardware..

2.  I found it to be a little frustrating and intimidating at first just because of how big Lordran is.  Pound for pound I would say they are  equally difficult.

3. Dark souls is TWICE as big as Demon's Souls.  Twice the zones, bosses, items, spells, everything.  However, it doesn't really take double to time to complete because a number of zones are completely optional in this game.  Regardless, Dark Souls will definitely take more time to clear especially if you are not using guides.

4. No the PC version will be with players strictly from GFWL.  I'm *hoping* for a smooth and secure experience.

no reson to fight them at such a low level, I'd attempt them at 40 or  so in a standard playthrough.  I have them upcoming in my SL1 playthrough and I'm really scurred. o.o  Hopefully this lightning battle axe can chop them down quick enough - can't decide if it's worth breaking ring of favor to utilize Dark Wood Grain Ring :\

I would think it would render the visuals at 1280x720 (standard 720p) not 1024x720 - that does not seem right.  PS3 runs this game at 720p and 60fps (except blighttown): so it surprises me to hear about a 30fps cap?  I can't begin to fathom a reason they would set this restriction.  Given it's a port I wouldn't expect higher resolution textures or anything like that so I won't even bother upscaling to 1080p.  I just hope it's smooth visually and that the controls are as tight and responsive as on consoles.   Can't wait ! 2 weeks :]

Taurus demon is a joke come on.. if you immediately sprint back after triggering him you can easily make it up the ladder, plunging attack with gold pine resin from 2 minutes earlier will do a ton of damage..  You can see his attacks coming with such a slow wind up.  Dark Souls is as close to flawless an ARPG can be but it is A LOT to learn and master.  At this point, i can play through the game blindfolded :'b  I'm working on a Soul Level 1 run on the channel now. :]

Such insolence.  You will be missing out on some very promising content, cannot wait !  Also, you gripes with the controls should be alleviated with a ps3 controller (or 360..) on PC.
