Ever since I got a nice surround sound system, gaming has been so much more enjoyable. Not only the score, but all of the little sound effects too. I would definitely say music is a huge importance in a game because it sets you up for a certain feeling. I definitely get more pumped up with an epic symphony orchestra in the background when I know I'm about to go into an epic battle.

I'm playing catch up still since I just got my PS3 a year ago, so I'm banking on Uncharted 2 and Demon Slayer.

Amazon has really turned into a great resource for me. They typically have a lot of deals, good shipping rates, and no tax (for the most part) on games.

Definitely Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 have been my favorite so far. I have enjoyed Fallout and Oblivion a lot too though. I used to play the Final Fantasy games, but I'm not as into those as I used to be.

Am I a P.O.S for modding my first 8k gamerscore? I'm curious, tc, as to why this upsets you so much.

Also, before this gets modded, I suggest you move it to a blog.

I think it is a little messed up that you hack your gamerscore. I can understand hacking and everything else as far as modding an Xbox, but what's the point in just tossing yourself 8,000 gamerscore points? I compete with my friends online for the highest gamerscore and if I found out one of them did that it would just take the fun out of it. You're supposed to 'earn' achievements, not mod them.

I'm still really on edge as to whether or not I want to guy this. I loved the first one, but the second one was sort of a let down. I missed the armor and the loading times were ridiculous. Hopefully this one will be better and maybe some shining early reviews will allow me to pre-order it and still get that $20 credit from Amazon ;)

I'm really interested, but not sure if I'm sold on it yet. Also not too sure if I'm ready to hand over my controller.

Regardless, RDR should be a game everyone owns. I'm a huge fan of the GTA series, and RDR blew the whole series out of the water for me. The action is engaging and the story and characters are incredible.

I typically don't write reviews, but I felt like Gamespot didn't give Dante's Inferno enough credit, so I actually wrote a review for it. I thought it was fun, and I definitely got into it. Its definitely worth playing, maybe not owning, but I would definitely rent it and see if you like it first.

I stopped buying games from Gamestop a long time ago. I traded in an old PSX game a while back and only got two dollars for it. I came back only to find out that they were selling it for $10. I can understand making a profit, but a 400% profit? Not okay. I buy everything from Amazon nowadays, no shipping, no tax, tons of promotions.
