Yawn...yet another generic FPS game. Oh, and you PC gamers better enjoy the graphics in the trailer, because 99% of you won't see anything close to that on your machines.

Trailers like this are as significant to the gaming population as Ferari having a commercial in between episodes of Divorce Court and Dr. Phil is to the car owners population. It's meant to make you oooh and awe, yet only a tiny percent of the population will actually experience what's in the trailer/commercial.

What are you talking about? Crysis 2 was easy to run maxed out, any $100 low/mid range card can run it. Not anywhere near as hard to run as the first Crysis.

Here's a dude running Skyrim @ 1366*768 and medium detail on a AMD Turion X2 2.2ghz and a mobility 4650.

According to http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-7.html the mobility HD4650 is on par with 2005 period cards like the 7800GT and X1950GT. So this laptop probably has similar specs as a pc from 2005.

Here's a dude running the witcher 2 on a AMD X2 and a 9500gt, the 9500gt is also a card on par with the 7800GT and X1950GT.

So yeah, modern PC games are runnable on an old dual core with a 2005/2006 era GPU.

Once again, 6670s and below won't run new games for a whole lot longer. As I already pointed out, my 6670 runs BF3 at a similar frame rate and graphical setting as a 6 year old console.

That's the problem. Low end builds really don't last all that long. That's why they won't ever be accessible like consoles. It really isn't a logical choice to get a low end PC that will not last nearly as long as a console for more money.

I agree that's sort of an odd build though. Might as well go for the Phenom X4 and 4 gigs of ram and probably get a 6770 or better.

Xbox 360 runs BF3 at sub-HD resolutions and with graphic settings equivalent to low/meds.

You have to turn everything to low on a 6670 to get a stable 30+ FPS at 720p. Of course the 360 resolution is a bit lower with a tiny bit slower framerates (like 5 FPS) but it also has anti aliasing and medium textures.

The GPU in your Ipad still uses as gigantic 65nm chip. If you where really a tech enthusiast you'd be awaiting your delivery of your bleeding edge 28nm GPU for your pc.

Try setting your fan speed manually at about 80-85%. Helped for me.
