That could mean Otis sacrificed himself. Completely unlikely, why would not show that scene right away? and why build all this suspense for that? It doesn't make sense. It really doesn't. Why wait till the very end of the episode to show Otis (a secondary 2 episode character, sacrifise himself)? It just didn't fit.[QUOTE="mrmusicman247"][QUOTE="Diviniuz"] Sounds like you just missed the signs, they were pretty obvious. Sorry.
Go re-watch the episode. I think the point where it got really obvious (like really obvious what was going to happen) was @29 minutes, where otis says "I ain't leaving you behind" and then like two minutes later Shane shows up in the truck.

Plus shanes actions afterwards made it more obvious. There were so many signs. You clearly weren't following the scenes because you didn't see this coming. I did. It didn't even cross me that they would end of episode with otis sacrifising himself or getting tired, I guess I was following the scenes.
Like I said, you missed the signs. I saw the sign, it opened up my eyes. I saw the signs (because I clearly saw this coming and I ended up being right, so... uhhh... yeah...)
I'm not sure how you say it was obvious. When Shane returns we see that Otis is gone. The way he acts is suspicious yes, and the focus of the episode IS on Shane, but the point of the scene WAS to shock the watcher. The hints may have been there, but it was in no way obvious what was going to happen. It was entirely plausible that Otis just couldn't make it back. This little superiority thing you have goin on about seeing it coming is really unfounded...
