well today I went to my uncle's house to help him set up his PS3 to his HDTV, he has had the PS3 for about a month now but has just bought the HD cables. After about an hour of troubleshooting with the PS3 and the TV I finally got it to display in 1080i, my uncle's TV only supports 480p and 1080i, wich is kind of odd. Now time to play some games, these are the game we played.

First we poped in VF5, now this game looks beautiful in 1080i, we had some fun with that game just trying to get used to the controls pulling off some button mashing combos. We played it for about 15 minutes. This game looked solid and played solid, I will now most def get it for my 360, I can't wait to play it on-line. Next we poped in Resistance Fall of Man, this is were we ran into a little problem, since my uncle's TV only supports 480p and 1080i and the game only supported 720p(thats what it said on the back of the game box) the system went down to 480p, I thought the PS3 upscaled, did this feature come out in a future update, I still haven't connected it on-line and got the updates, I will prob go do that tomorrow.

I have to say that I wasn't too impressed with Resistance, the only game I could compare it to was Gears of War, but it did look good for a launch title it has a lot of guns that is cool. We were gonna play motorstorm but I remembered that it doesn't have local multiplayer so we skipped playing that. Then we played 3 innings of MLB 2k7, I have to say using the six axis to swing the bat is fun, but I noticed that the game had a lot of slow down, I don't know what it was from, but I have played this game on the 360 and it ran super smooth.

I didn't get as much hands on time with it as I wanted to because it was getting late and I had to go home, but I will be going back in a couple days to get him hooked up to the PSN, and I will be checking out playing the games on the PSN, so I will update you guys on how that goes. Overall I can see that the PS3 has a lot of potential power, and some great games coming out I might have to get one soon.

I do not believe that they sell pal game here in america, nut you could get them off this website. LINk
