i personally love indie games, there are a lot of good ones if you know where to look. if you go to

The Independent Gaming Source
and check out some of those games, especially those in the highly recommended section, you can find a lot of good things. a game i personally want to play right now is Noitu Love 2:Devolution. It is a pc beat em up that uses the mouse; it sounds shaky but it really is quite clever and entertaining.

Indie games have recently been coming into the spotlight now, mostly through things like PSN, Live Arcade, and Steam. These are things like De blob (based of an indie game), world of goo, everday shooter, Braid, tumiki fighters, and so on. What do you think of these kind of games, or do you really have no idea what these are at all (i understand that a lot of these are unheard of).

i think the game industry really gets bland without originality. i love to see games do new things. however most people really don't care and like the same things again and again. sad.

only thing i could see bad about the psp in general is that you'll probably spend a lot on accesories, screen protectors and case are a must. also the game selection is less expansive than the DS, but still very high quality.

GoW definitely, but that doesnt mean you should just go buy it for that. (you should buy it for sex, violence, and gameplay).

you should definitely buy some kind of case, maybe a logitech playarmor, or at least a plastic screen protector. i'd recomend both. and yes 1 gig is definitely more than enough, you can even go ahead and throw some downloadable games or something on there too.

silent hill origins. just because the franchise has more to offer. manhunt is just blood and violence, silent hill is even more psychologically damaging (if you're into that kind of thing)
