I was rather surprised to see one of the mods defending the ban to be honest. It seemed a bit overboard, and I'm quite happy to see it reversed.

As is my stance with everything you listed, none may not be sinful in and of themselves but that does not mean they are profitable or beneficial. As an example, I am well above the legal drinking age being that I will be 25 years old tomorrow. However, I have had a grand total of two or three alcoholic beverages ever in my life. Is this because I believe the mild consumption of alcohol to be sinful? Not at all. However, for me the negatives outweigh the positives. Not only this but if I were to drink then I'd then be a liar, thus sinning, as I would be going against the contract that I willingly signed when starting my school. In other words, something can in a sense be morally neutral but simply unwise.mindstorm

I like this stance. It makes sense and seems inline with what I know of the teachings.
