I agree with DeviousJAZ. Games these days are just not going down, instead its going up. Couple of months ago here in Canada, I remember new releases cost around $59.99, now it retails at $69.99. Im 15 years old, and I can only afford around 1 game every 2-3 months. Lower the prices guys, and have a good day.
I know friends who have broken several controllers before due to a lost or a kill. Even I broke a controller, but it wasn't because I was angry, it's because my dog thought it was his bone. Anyway, this is a nice article and well written. Gained some respect from me.
I think the kid who shot his mom thought that she's gonna respawn again. Boy was he wrong. But I did do some research about this incident, evidence showed that the kid (name was Dan) was actually planning the crime weeks before. So when his parents took his Halo 3, that basically triggered him. So I think Dan deserve life imprison because it wasn't the game's fault, it was his. It wasn't his love for the game, but his hatred toward his parents. But the other ones in Asia was pretty brutal. I mean 50 hours straight?
The only thing you should be addicted are drugs. And I'm not surprised; recent poll shows that 2/5 students (out of 1500) in my HS will sell you drugs. I'm in my freshman year and half of my friends do smoke. But my school also has the nerdy side; around 60% of my friends own one of the 7th generation gaming machine.
Born in '94 and 5 years later I got my first Playstation. Then my first game was Syphon Filter and Dino Crisis 2. And after that, I've been a gamer since. I've never been addicted and I'm smart enough to know whats reality and game world.
