1. StarCraft and expansion 2. Everquest, starting with the original and working up through the expansions. Naggy raid! 3. Sid Meier's Pirates! 4. Halo 2 5. Star Wars: Empire at War
I liked it. It kinda reminds me of 'Cheat!' on G4, but then anything that resembles a video blog dealing in methodology and walkthrough related material should all resemble each other. The film noir aspect was pretty cool. Kudos, Matt!
1. Asphault Urban GT (DS). I bought this game shortly after the DS's launch because it looked cool. I pop it in and say 'Hello generic racer number 873'. 2. Perfect Dark Zero (360). Nuff said. 3. Tactics Ogre: The Knights of Lodis (GBA). I'd heard it was the penultimate GBA strategy game, and was apparently rare enough to be the stuff of legends. Well, imagine my surprise when I find it for ten bucks at a Game Rush, box, book, and all. I know I'll never get around to playing it. But it's in my collection now, I tell myself. 4. Lode Runner (GB). The game itself was horrible. You have this little guy who shoots lasers at the floor. I spent 30 bucks on it when I was ten (1990), and I couldn't do anything with the damn game because I couldn't figure out what to do! I was pissed, especially since it took me two months to save up 30 bucks. 5. Final Fantasy 8 (PC). I bought this when it was new to the platform. My computer wouldn't support the graphics. Instead of returning it, I held onto it in hopes that a future incarnation of my computer won't crash when I load it. Seven years later I'm still waiting.
