IGN loves batting around the Wii audience for whatever reason and here's another example

Need for Speed Nitro

Now overall it's scoring high 6's but IGN gives it an 8. Now is IGN the lone review site trying to inform Wii owners?

Jaysonguy

So far it has four reviews on Metacritic; three 80s and one 50. User rating there is 8.3. Yeah, IGN's really out there on this one.

To selectively quote their review myself:

Nitro is a blast despite its faults, and brings some simply awesome concepts to the table. If you're a racing fan, this is the first NFS experience that's actually worth the cash on Wii.

Sell one of 'em and buy some more games.

Or tell your mom you were going through her closet. That could be fun too.

I have 132. I keep an accurate record of price, including tax and shipping where applicable. I have a mix of used and new games and the average price I paid is $22.60. Imports really drive the average up. I have 113 US releases with an average of $20.56.

I have personal experience with this. If you are serious check out my blog about it here which will help you identify if they are fake.raahsnavj

That's an excellent write-up. A link to that should be stickied in this forum IMO.

The one thing I would add is information about the four character code unique to each DS game. It should appear in at least three places; on the back of the case near the barcode, on the cartridge label, and stamped in ink on the back of the cartridge. The form will vary from place to place, but the four character code should be the same. For example, the copy of Scribblenauts I have here in front of me has "NTR P BSLE" on the back cover, "NTR-BSLE-USA" on the cartridge label, and "BSLEN0J22" stamped on the back. Note that the "BSLE" is consistent from place to place, and this is another detail bootleggers seem to ignore. This can help identify a fake if you only have the cartridge.

Do a Google search on the 12-digit barcode on the back of the package and see what comes up. If the results are for a completely different game, it's likely fake. In my experience bootleggers are too lazy to get small details like that right. Also check the code next to the barcode on the back; on DS games it's usually in the form NTR-P-****, where **** represents a four character code unique to each game.

If you care to open it, there are other things to look for as well.

If you paid with PayPal, you should be able to get a refund, though you'll probably have to return it at your expense.

A Wendy's cheeseburger combo meal last night. On my way home from buying dog food. Yeah, exciting night.

The Clash, Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Neil Young, Santana, Van Morrison, etc.

Clearly I can't pick just one.

Not at all since Johnny Carson, though I'd be more likely to watch it now; I think Conan's much funnier than Leno. I get my fill of late-night hilarity from The Daily Show and The Colbert Report.

They shouldn't throw stones.
