The one in my sig is the first one and old one that I have and have had it about 4yrs and still runs most games on high too! I will be getting a new case for it a super tower so I can make adding ram and Hard Drives a bit easier.

Yeah I'll try all of those and I don't think it is the PSU cause the fan is always running and doesn't usually get hot when I play crysis or any of my other games on it, But I will see if I can get a computer tool kit so I can test it too.

[QUOTE="General_Lee45"]

The wierd thing is it doesn't do it all the time though.

JimmyJumpy

Parts that are dying inside the power supply could start acting funny when getting warm for instance. Or a wire that has a bad contact cazn act normal for days and then all of a sudden start fizzing, because of a fluctuation in the power, or a vibration of the desk the computer is sitting on...

The thing is, once you've got something that starts to malfunction, things are unpredictable...

I think it was my BIOS that was causing the fans to stay on after shut down and the lights too. I also think it was causing the hesitation before the Bios Splash screen and the beep it has always made after I push the power button and the hesitation when it was restarting it would flicker on and off once or twice before it would restart and now it doesn't seem to do it and I am gonna watch it for the next few days and keep shutting it down and restarting it and see if that solves the problem too.

Could be a mobo or PSU problem.

I'd start by checking all the connections to the mobo. I'd also reset the BIOS.

By the way, if you hold the power button on the front of your case, does it always shutdown completely or do the fans keep spinning?

Tezcatlipoca666

it shuts down completely and then when I restart and doesn't have the shutdown improperly menu.
