I'm hearing that at present the games coming out for PS3 are designed for 720p, but can upscaled to 1080p. Is this true? If so, is there any games that are designed for 1080p now or in the near future?
I recently got a Sony Bravia which displays 1080p. I've notice when I view anything in HD on tv that there is a difference when something has been upscaled to HD versus something that was filmed originally in HD. The originally filmed show looks noticably better then the upscaled one.
With the above in mind I thought the same could apply to a blue-ray movie or a game designed for 720p versus one designed for 1080p. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks.
It will at the very least be interesting to watch. As soon as I got both the PS3 and X360 I can finally sit back and watch the PS3 vs X360 and truely not care which wins. Competition = consumers win.
