What I can tell is, PS3 is much brighter... Xbox 360 has darker shadows there is definetly no significant difference that would make me think I should buy one over the other

ps3 looks brighter, is that because of the console or the tv used?

all these features are too minor to care... I'm not going to get rid of my old one just because the new one is lighter and if i cared about viewing movies on a tv i would just get the dvd. This sucks what ever happend to the good old days of good games and portables that were ment to be portables!
