I'm actually very impressed with netflix on the 3DS, for me it's quick, doesn't buffer (I have DSL and use a wireless connection), and the sound quality is really good. I watched Iron Man 2, and was impressed with the quality of the picture even though the 3DS's screen isn't HD. Netflix on the 3DS is ideal for me as it allows me to watch what I want, when I want to with out anyone objecting.

Like I've said before, there is nothing stoping developer from deciding not to using the Wii U remote. They can use the classic controller pro if so feel like it. Also if you don't want to buy the ported games then so be it, you don't have to. Just like with any console, their will be exclusives and timed exclusives. Just like there will be games that are just done better on a nother system or look better. I'm certain there will be plenty of stuff to look forward to both including and excluding the Wii U remote. Also Gamespot's ideas aren't the best ones, infact a few of them I would go as far as to say they are on the bottom of the list.

@Bread_or_Decide Give it a chance. Alot of the standarts in the gamming industry start out as nothing more than a Gimmic. Such as the D pad, or small joy stick that can be moved with just a thumb instead of your intire hand, or a first person shooter ever working on a home console (intill 007: Golden Eye for N64 showed how it's done). Or even motion controls that now both Sony and Microsoft are getting into. Granted for the most part it didn't work that well on the wii, but that's because developers didn't think the Wii would catch on and the games they were used to making the Wii just wasn't strong enough to do. Give PS move and microsoft kennic (I'm almost certain I miss spelt that) a few years and I bet that their will be multiple games that much excelent use of the motion controls. And with the Wii U, developers won't have an excuse for not putting a game on the Wii U (asuming the game is Multiplat) for it's power is equal or possibly even greater than PS3 and XBOX360. If they don't want to use the Wii U remote then they don't have to, they can use the classic controler pro or the remote nunchuk combo. It's all up to the developers to how they will utilize this system and possibly the Wii U's remote. Also sorry for the wall of text. Plz parden any miss spellings you see as I just woke up.

@grognard That may be. I doubt that ALL the games will require the use of the Wii U remote. Also my Gamecube remote that I've had for almost 10 years now still works almost flawlessly (except the c stick is sorta sticky). You never know, they might just be able to make a remote that is extremly durable. And hey? I can wish, can't I? Also I'm willing to be that there will be plelnty of devs who see the remote as a pure gimmic, and there for won't use it, but instead op to use the Wii mote (motion +) and nunchuk and or use classic controller pro. I'm certain their will be more options reveled as the months pass, and possibly all the information on the Wii U being reveled at next E3 or at one of the other gaming conventions that nintendo attends later this year or early next. Either way, I'm still excited about this System.

@grognard Guess what? I don't think anybody will be throwing the Wii U remote at the TV screen for it's motion controls don't work that way. It's not meant to be used like a Wii remote. And from what I've heard, the remote is very comfortable, and light, and easy to use. Also since you will only get one Wii U remote, that probly means that if it breaks, you will be able to mail it to Nintendo and they will fix it. For a small fee of course (unless the warently isn't up yet in which case it will be free). But hey everybody is intitled to their own opinoun, if you don't want to buy it you don't have to. I will because I will want to try it.

Hmmmm....their (gamespot) idea's are interesting but.....For Pikmin I imagin that the tablet could have a very interesting purpose in CO-OP (if of course that mode is ever introduced to the main story of the game). Imagin this: You (Olimar) and 2nd player (Louie or who ever it will be) start out at the landing site in the area. You withdraw your pikmin, seperate them between both of you, and sent down a stright path together. But what's this? A fork in the road? (not a literal one) Instead of player two being stuck with following you, or the game being in split screen, if and when second player leaves the screen his game play will then switch to the Wii U remote. I don't know about you, but the possiblities are exciting. All it takes is developers to use their brains to make something that is to use but doesn't take away from the fun.
