No it's not 'worth more' but it's better value. Gaming laptops are legendarily overpriced, as you have to buy them pre-built. A decent gaming laptop will set you back atleast $800. Obviously the graphics and controls of the games it will play will surpass the Vita's games, but at the price point, the Vita is still far better value for money.

This is of course assuming you're buying a laptop soley for the purpose of gaming - if you need a new computor then I'd recommend a decent computor. So it's all down to what you need overall, really.

Resistance: Burning Skies hands-on http://n4g.com/news/981190/the-verge-resistance-burning-skies-multiplayer-proves-two-thumbsticks-are-better-than-one/comdigimonkey12

That has filled me with some confidence. Looks like it could be a great game.

There are many.

-Metal Gear Solid (Not the HD collection, I have that on PS3 - I'm thinking Twin Snakes or a new game)

-Grand Theft Auto (Not a port, a new one, San Andreas Stories?)

-Monster Hunter (One that supports online like Tri did)

-A Quality Final Fantasy game (FFX will probably settle it for me)

-Resident Evil (As mentioned before, a REAL one.)

There are probably more, but all of these franchises are 5 star IMO.

I have had a quick search around and I can't seem to find the release date anywhere.

Luckily for you the PS Vita is region free though, so import to your hearts content.

Sounds trivial, but I think lowering the price of the memory cards would make a substantial difference. This surely is the smartest thing for Sony to do as the production costs for those cards has to be a fraction of what they're charging. Seriously if they brought the 4gb cards down from $20 to under $10 (Closer to the price of the standard non-proprietary card) I, and I'm sure many other potential customers would feel more inclinded to buy a vita.

[QUOTE="bluefunky"]Silent Hill could be a must have as well.ItsEvolution
Somebody hasn't seen the video yet. It looks horrid.

Understatement. I clicked the video, saw all the dislikes and thought "Stupid Fanboys crying about American developers and that." I then saw the character customisation and thought "What a terrible idea, but I can overlook that crap gimmick."

Then I saw the gameplay.

"Don't worry fans, limited ammo, spooky rooms, dark atmohpere - all still there!"absolute bullcrap. It reminded me of that zombie apocolypse shooter that came out a few years ago on PSN.

I am truly dissapointed, it would have been a brilliant start for the vita for it to have a great horror game on it.

Yea well my problem is i work 12 hour nights stationary alone so it's something to pick up when the hours are ticking. using for music, and other things, So i thing more hours would be great

Ubersoldat87

Well that's a different story then, haha. Does wherever you work have no power outlets that you can use? I mean lugging around the charger would be a pain but I mean it's a 12 hour shift.

I think if you're looking for a time killer, for music and videos and simple games, an iPhone or something of the sort would appeal more to your needs.

I don't own a vita, but I own a 3DS - which has WORSE battery life than the vita, and I don't find it to be a serious issue. Battery life is 4 hours, that covers most long train journeys or short flights or drives or whatever. I don't really see many situations where you're going to need 10 hours of HD gaming. If ever I use handheld consoles away from home (or away from a means of recharging) I don't use it excessively anyway. I personally think it has plenty of battery, but that's just me.
