Is the TV set for "Strech" "16:9" or that other one? My Philips has that same problem, for 1080i your TV has to be set in the wide screen format (even if its not widescreen). You will get black bars
I go to EB Games to pick up Forza 2 and they say it shipped today will not be in stores until tommorrow. If it says the 29th then relase it on the 29th! i TOOK OFF WORK FOR NOTHING!TMorss
you took off work? So i figure youre a big gamer? Then how come you have never realized ALL GAMES come out 1 day after the "Release" date on MS's website. On the 29th they ship it to EB games, on the 30th EB games gets it in the morning, and they sell it. Pretty simple. Possibly...just maybe.... you should check with EB games employees (who would have told you this) before you "take off work." Which in the first place is just stupid... if you need to take off work to play a game thats kinda sad... since even after work you still have HOURS to be playing.

If you didnt pay for the games its illegal. If the console is not in its original condition on the inside its illegal. If you have to search the internet for missing files so you dont get banned... most likely illegal

I think is MS has any interests in a Home like service they would not hire out to have it made. They would do it internal with an existing studio. Even then, MS has repeatedly said they are not interested in Home because they dont feel its needed.
Its good though, i want to play home, so i might try this as a demo when its out.
(oddly enough, I have a 40 pages design document on my computer for a game which is more or less home, but cartoony... last time i "modified" it was almost 6 months ago... i need to start attempting to sell things i think up)

Wrong, Xbox fans moved on to the 360. Xbox devs moved on to the 360. Ps2 fans kept their Ps2s. Ps2 Devs stuck to the Ps2

No, think about it. Good games where coming out for the Xbox for a good few months after the 360 came out, or directly before. The 360 however has been out for almost a year and a half... Of course by now the Xbox wont have any games. The Ps3 however has only been out for half a year...the ps2 is still moving strong because of that (and the entry barrier to the ps3). Its not either company is dropping their old system, the Xbox HAD to be dropped sooner because the 360 came out a relativly long time ago.
Im gonna say the ps3 is going to have a 8 year life span. I think we can expect the new Xbox with the MS processor in 2009 (or at least announced...).
