$16 for Evolve? Kind of a lot to ask for a free to play game. And Battleborn should be free to play as well. I would totally play battleborn, and maybe even throw them a buck or two.
Finally got into a few matches. I need to spend more time playing it to have a better feel for it, but as of a few matches in, it feels like crap on a controller. I know that battlefield's have always been a PC first kind of game, but man does this one feel bad on a PS4 controller. The default sensitivity is like controlling a turtle, and if you turn it up by even a small amount it becomes super swimy. Battlefield 3 was the last game I put any amount of time into, but I don't remember it feeling this bad. Even though other people are trying to shoot me, I feel the real fight is with the crappy guns and controls.
As much as I dislike all the remastering of old games, I get it. If this collection had the first Assassin's Creed, then I would buy it in a heartbeat. The first game is still the best game IMO.
@spartanx169x: I agree. What was fun about the first game was that it was fast moving chaos. However, even though it was chaotic, you would still have pretty long time between deaths. You could kill creep and kinda avoid enemy players, all while contributing to the team. Attrition mode WAS Titanfall 1 for me. Two of the modes in the beta don't have creep AI and one of them doesn't even have titans. The distinguishing features of the first game where: Fast chaotic movement, enemy AI, and giant fracking robots. This beta doesn't do a good job at showcasing any of those things.
Also the game has terrible balancing for weapons, loadouts, and titans. Everyone uses the grappling hook and assault rifle. The game gives you ZERO reason to use anything else. I also feel that scorch was rarely used. I played dozens of matches over the weekend, and I bet I could count the number of scorches I saw with both hands.
I was really excited for this game. I only played Titanfall 1 on my friends PC as I don't have an X1. I was looking forward to playing this one on PS4. But after the first beta, I don't feel too great about the game.
They need to seriously update PSN. The download speed on PS4 is embarrassingly slow. As for the PS+ games, tricky towers and Rebel Galaxy are the only ones that I have liked so far this year. They need to get better titles. If they increase the price and don't update PSN then they will (rightfully) anger a lot of people.
@metalion: That's what I am starting to think. I really like the first game. If Titanfall 2 was just the first game with more unlocks and on PS4, then I would buy it. But 2 feels poorly balanced in the weapon and classes (pilot and titan) and the maps and modes in the beta kinda suck.
