Great to see an article of this sort. One game that wasn't mentioned was Dead Rising. It separated the acts of saving survivors and forwarding the storyline in a such a way that choosing to save someone could result in you never unraveling the truth behind the zombie attack. It then had the balls to let you play to the end with this consequence or you could let some people die at the cost of discovering the truth.
