@PrpleTrtleBuBum: It's really interesting that studios must have this feeling, too. I feel this way, you feel this way, likely many people do. I imagine studios who want to sell games feel this also. Curious.
This game looks so awesome. I am so glad the world has been developed in a fantasy setting. The Final Fantasy series is amazing at how they position their game designs: always within the trends of the time in a way that they seem to fit snugly in the times and to also invent signature facets of the design within those trends. Every game seems so current and so distinct to the series. For this reason, it's so much fun to watch the development of each game. In this case, I am so pleased they have gone with a fantasy setting. The trends that make this a good move commercially are of Game of Thrones, The Witcher, etc. that the characters and world seems to enjoy kinship with.
