1. How did you even get a cockroach in an XBOX? Let alone a "Few" of them.

2. Unless these are metal eating cockroaches, I severely doubt it will effect it.

3. Not really, most products will cause some form of damage. Try to pick or shake them out and kill them with something.

Well, the cockroach wasn't actually IN the box just on it, scrambling for an the vent. But i feel a little better knowing that's blocked by a fan. Oh well. I'll go and microwave the xbox and see what happens ;)

I've had the misfortune of having a few cockroaches setting up a fewnests somewhere in my apartment, so far, i think i've taken care of two but there are still some of the little buggers that are alive. After catching one that almost got in my xbox, i'm just wondering if there's any chance if they can have ...''inhabited'' the xbox? I'm moving fairly soon, and i don't feel like having any of them with me. oh, and is there anything i could use against the roaches without damaging my xbox?

Enclave is pretty damn good. Decent graphics, good storyline and fun hack'n'slash, kinda hard (although GS made it sound way harder than it is) It's somewhat short, and there's no other game-modes than Storymode.
But, considering the budget price, and everything that's good with this game..Give it a go, i'm sure you won't regret it.

I'd say BG 1&2 (Considering the price, you might awell get both, with expansions.) (Put high priority on finding TOB for BG2 though, since it kinda is the finishline of the games)

NWN if you can find some decent multiplayer server (but stay the heck away from the SP portion of it. I've never seen anything more horrible)

Icewind dale series if you want a little more hack&slash oriented gameplay

And Planescape tourment, i can promise you won't find more dialouge in a single game, and the dialouge still being good.

Oh, for the love of...

Anyway.

''  ``We are well aware that the sweet spot of the market is really 199 bucks,'' said Hufford. At $250 he labeled the Wii a ``strong value proposition, adding, "When mom walks into the store and sees she can get a console with a game for $250, she sees it as a $300 value. They've done a good job.'' ''

A mother? Why the hell does consoles (and games in general for that matter) need to be revamped into some cutesy ''family fun'' kiddie box? I understand the need to trying to appeal to a bigger market, but it will SO evidently make the real gamers suffer.

''Microsoft hopes to extend the reach of the Xbox 360 far beyond the 20 year old FPS fans''

Yeah, that's bull. If i've understood it correctly, he means that these FPS fans are the hardcores? These are just the kind of morons they've attracted by their earlier attempts at ''widening'' the market. (don't take me wrong, i don't consider all FPS fans idiots, but i've listened to way to many morons at the gamestore talking about wich game to get, the one with more blood or more skin showing. >.> )

Games like Viva pinata is a nice break in the constant showering of FPS (on all consoles/PC) but the thing is that we toning things down, making them cuter and taking out ''offensive'' material is not the way to go.
The way to go, would be to actually create games that actually can be ''adult'' games without the three B's.

But i'm going off-topic.

Profits and reason aside, microsoft needs to stay as this supposed ''hardcore haven'' before everything is lost, and before we know it, parents and kids are the more catered group than the gamers.

For me it's not really IF bethesta can do it, it's just that they plain can't. Oblivion was decent, but in NO way whatsoever near the same class as fallout. Oh, if only bethesta could be hit by a suprising number of rockets launched by a country. Superpowers, if you're listening...

Anyway.
They can ''tease'' all they want, it just won't change the fact that they just can't do it in a way to make the game deserve to be mentioned with the I&II .

The only game i can think of that actually managed to mold several different genres into one was Deus ex. So, Deus ex get's my vote. (Altough my personal favourite is Baldur's gate II)

PC, or if i can't say PC (even though we all KNOW it blows everything else out of the water ((Stop looking at me like that :P))
I'd say the DC for games, or the NES.

Black isle in my opinion. Fallout, baldur's gate and planescape: tourment? There ain't a developer that can match that.
