@Slash_out the last 30 minutes of the game should have been the climax (of an insanely poor plot, involving a magical weapon), then it should have been followed by falling action and a conclusion.
@Egotte @holenjd @BoromiRwcgeorge why when everyone wants to crush an opinion to they do not like they put it on the invisible "youths"(or children, essentially a younger demographic)
"I'm not about silencing a vocal minority (that doesn't work anyway), I'd rather inspire them, if I could, to pause; take a moment to think, take a few deep breaths and then address an issue they feel strongly about it with beginning with "OMG **** THEM EVIL COMPANIES". "
When I referred to the "us" (the group you held your self in) before, I had no idea you held yourself in such high esteem.
That you take on such a burden, the gaming equivalent to lets say the "white mans burden" :P. But of course your morally superior, perhaps your phrenology makes you more capable.
Yes I am mocking you, but to make a point, and to show how harmful this belief of moral superiority, of the the desire to "inspire" people to fit in with your ideology.
Like I said you desire only for them to conform to both your beliefs and your behavior or risk being labeled as you so kindly did at your final paragraph
The use of the word minority in its essence, is to appeal to the people fallacy.
Its suggesting because some one is in the vocal minority, in this case both words have negative connotations, is simply to push down and avoid any sort of argument.
Your classifying the us (the reasonable well in formed majority, utter bull) against the THEM (the "vocal minority") You have created a group in your mind in which to hate and to avoid any sort of discussion because they are in "that group".
You have no desire for debate, or "logical insights"
You seek only to push other peoples opinions so far into the pavement in order to force them to conform to your beliefs, or risk being labeled...
