I'm very happy with a $250 (well, I am british so I will really have to wait tilol it gets turned into poundage). But I think $250 is just enough for it to sound cheap but high enough for me to have confidence that the console is a good step up from the GCN. If they had announced it at $170-$200 I would have been worried that it was going to be almost exactly the same as the GCN on the inside and that the controller might have been poor quality, especially as Nintendo make a profit on their consoles.

I am pretty patient guy. I can wait for any of these developments. I am more interested in the here and now. While BIG developments are all well and good I am content to caontinue riding the software wave for a while. Too many good games come out for me to care about new consoles till I have to. Even more so, summer is here and that basically gaurantees no further developments for a good 2-3 months. Summer is a time to catch up on all the great games one missed in the past year. And that is what I intend to do.
