I have a back-log of Wii games to play, but currently my list would be something like this:

1. Monster Hunter Tri

2. Harvest Moon: Tree of Tanquility

3. Metroid Prime Trilogy

4. Super Mario Galaxy

5. Super Mario Bros. Wii

6. Super Smash Bros. Brawl

7. Final Fantasy IV: The After Years

8. No More Heroes

9. Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars

10. Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast

...I just realized I excluded Twilight Princess, Super Paper Mario, and Mario Kart Wii. A top ten list is too hard!

[QUOTE="BrunoBRS"] BTW, how do you attack with the wiimote+nunchuck? waggle or A?dtno132
Waggle. :?

Yeah; I may be biased with the CC because it closely resembles PSP and PS2 controls, but the waggling isn't accurate enough. So yeah, unless you've started with the Wiimote and really have your mind set on using it in the future, I'd say definitely get the CCP as well, especially if you don't already have a CC.

I LOVE the people who think the Monster Hunter series needs lock-on; it shows how little they know about the game itself.

You have to spend time with the game, if you did you'd realize that, not only would lock on dumb it down to a terrible hack n' slash action game, but take away what makes the game so great: the skill that is involved. Go watch a more skilled player on youtube or something and you'll realize that the overall design of the game is brilliant, as well as challenging, not because of flaws, but because of the reliance on timing, patience, and of course, skill.

I'll admit that when I first started with the Monster Hunter series on the PSP I drove me crazy! The learning curve is tough to get over, but after you spend some good time with the game you'll begin to realize just how amazing the series is.

The series would not be this popular if the game had crucial design flaws. Learn more about the mechanics of the game, suck it up, and realize that it's a challenging game that you need to spend lots of time with to get good at.

And why is keeping Monster Hunter Tri hard a bad thing for America? If you're saying American consumers are different, well you're right, but Capcom's goal isn't for every household to old Monster Hunter. It's a hardcore game, meant only for serious gamers. Ask ANYONE who has at first hated the game, and then spent more time with it. The last thing they will tell you is that the game has design flaws. The only flaws it has are your own, and that's what makes the game so ridiculously addicting and great.

Oh, and the game was really designed with the Classic Controller in mind; I'd highly recommended that people use it instead of the Wiimote. Camera contorl with the right joystick becomes second nature.

[QUOTE="Fick1122"]For all newcomers to the game, even the ones that feel like some things about the game's decision is poor, hear me out: I started playing Monster Hunter on the PSP, and for the first 10 hours or so of the game, IT WILL KICK YOUR ASS. But if you stick with the game and get past the steep learning curve, you will find it is the most rewarding, addicting game you'll ever play. I hated the game at first, but stuck with it, and now the MH series is one of my favorites, and Monster Hunter Tri is my most anticipated game ever! Have patience with the demo, take your time to learn the mechanics, and don't get frusterated! You'll start to realize just how awesome the game is.BrunoBRS
this doesn't make up for the lack of the dual blades, which were my weapons of choice until i found out tri doesn't have them >_>

It's cool, Hammers are where it's at :p.

I'm starting to upload videos onto Youtube for the first time and even though it says the uploading was successful, whenever I go to watch it the video doesn't play and instead says error; please try again later. Does it take time for the video tobe viewable? Or did I do something wrong? Thanks

The people who are so negative about it never even went. At least give it a try, and like one of the above posters said, after prom can be...interesting.
