Just wondering if you are basing the insinuation on anything real or if you are just making baseless claims. Hope its the former!

@InYourMouf: believe it or not, not everyone is a nerd like you who knows about emulators and has a controller to hook up to the pc...some just want to pick up and play and satisfy the nostalgia itch, quickly and above all, comfortably from their couch.

Pes is unforgivably bad offline and in features.... Fifa is very strong in these categories and while its gameplay might be slightly inferior, it is much better packaged and as a result more appealing long term... In this day and age features and online are extremely important... The lack of polish on even the simple things bothers me in pes. Remember kids, the package as a whole is what matters

@sgmullins: its unforgivable how bad pes is online. Everyone picks barcelona (how original) and latency is very significant! Again, unforgivable this day and age.
