Was your system overclocked when you put in the new card? If so have you tried running everything stock otherwise yeah it sounds like a compatibility issue.

Is there any reason why your sticking to a 32" screen? There are 40" 1080p lcds from 899.99 to 1099.99 also. Otherwise can't go wrong with either one, just have to see which one you like better in the store and read some reviews. In regards to the comment from ZimpanX, I agree to just get a 720p panel and save money because at 32" you would be hard pressed to tell a difference.

Most people cannot tell the difference but is better to run what ever the resolution of the tv is. At least then your tv doesn't have to do any scaling and should look its best.

Basically if you have a dvd/blu-ray/ receiver connected through hdmi and all the components support hdmi control then when you turn on the player it turn on the tv and when you power down the player it will turn off the receiver and tv.

The Xbox 360 racing wheel and Mad Catz work on the 360, but the Ps3 supports wheels from Intec, Mad Catz, Rocketfish and logtiech. I only found one wheel compatible for all platforms. The Fanatec Porsche 911 Turbo S. Rather expensive, for just the wheel it's 179.99 and with the pedals and shifter it's 309.99. Link

Connect your hdmi cable directly to your receiver, then there will also be an hdmi out on the receiver which goes to the tv. If it doesn't have hdmi in then you connect the hdmi cable to your tv and the optical cable directly to the receiver. Using your tv's optical out won't degrade the signal at all, it just doesn't output 5.1 surround, it only does 2 channel output.
