It's worth mentioning that, regarding microtransaction practices, they have made it so that you need to purchase the A Rift in Time expansion once per account. It is not sharable between users on the same console.

I think this was a very poor choice on their end given the price point and it might be really confusing for parents buying the expansion for their children.

I heavily disagree with Goodnight Mommy and somewhat disagree with Lights Out.

Goodnight Mommy had one of the coolest uses of cinematography I've ever seen for the big reveal. Lights Out was pretty good for your mainstream horror flick. Not great but I can think of a whole lot more that should be on the list before this one.

@BrunoBRS: Eh, you might be right, but it seems like the sales haven't been as good, anecdotally at least. A few triple A titles heavily discounted for the whole sale instead of a title or two a day. I sort of liked the game of checking in every few hours to see if the titles I wanted were discounted.

Maybe ditch the main flash but keep the cycle of voting at least?

I really didn't care for this episode. More than any other episode I can remember in the franchise, this one felt like it was forcing me in directions that were against my previous choices.

One particular dialogue tree was along the (loosely paraphrased) lines of: "Tell them it was ____'s fault", "Tell them you managed to screw up". I choose "tell them you managed to screw up" and it still blamed the other person.

A few minutes later, I was in a series of arguments that had no previous context based on my choices, so I felt a little lost.

Meh, hope the next episode is really good.

This is the first I've heard of this reviewer. Her narration is very well done and easy to listen to. Keep it up!

Just finished the episode. I think the game mechanics themselves have improved this time around, but the story just hasn't pulled me in yet. I really just don't find any of character's personalities believable so far. Perhaps it's just because we don't see their back stories in this episode but, still, none of them seem real to me.

I couldn't agree more. As video games have gotten further and further from couch co-op, I've suddenly found myself more interested in tabletop games and less interested in the former.

When they mentioned it was short, I was expecting something as breezy as The Walking Dead 400 Days (not that 400 Days is bad at all). It seems to be about 1 hour of semi-interactive cinematic and 2 hours of combat. I'm a huge fan of Elizabeth and the Bioshock universe, so I'm a tad biased and would personally score this DLC very high. However, objectively, I think the 7-7.5 rating other sites have been giving it seems more on the mark. Dedicated fans will get a lot more out of this than casual players.

I recommend starting this out on 1999 mode. It felt a lot different than in Infinite and provides a real scarcity of resources/ fear of death. Every time I died in Burial at Sea, it was because I made a bad choice. The battles never felt cheap like the Siren battle did in the main game.

This is the first entry to COD I've been interested in since its WWII days of COD2. I suppose I like the disconnect of its future setting. Modern Warfare came off as a little too "hoo-ah!" for me.
