Like the same way Gears of War had obvious similarties to Kill.Switch? Yet its known to be one of the best games this past year. All devs take ideas from other games, thats common. But really, how many dragon fliying games are out there? Factor 5 should be liked for bringing out a type game that isnt common.bkslayer

Yes actually, thats exactly what i mean. They seem to have certain elements that are similar. I never said that Lair is going to be bad because it shares those properties, i am just saying it seems a lot like it. 

And by the way, Killswitch is a decent game, its just very repeditive and suffers the COD/modern shooter syndrome (boring bland environments) 

It is hard to judge, the art style messes me up a little but as far as textures and overall look of the game goes:

Lost Planet,  Kameo, and some others. Its very hard tojudge and iknow for fact people are going to bash me for saying Kameo but that gamelooks very good.

Dont get so worried about graphics. Eventually, the graphic shock wears off. Its ok as long as the game does not look like complete garbage, you have to set some standards

Funny seeing as how you havnt played lair so I say wait till its out. The truth is there are alot more FPS where you kill Aliens out there then there are Dragon flying games.

The thing is, the game i had you could battle aboard a dragon. Breathe fire. Get off it and battle on foot. There are just so many similarities between the two. Not saying Lair looks bad but it just has many similarities with this game. The devs have no doubt in my mind played it before and based Lair off of it.

I dislike Factor 5. The thing with them is that their games tend not to be very original and complete copies of other games with outstanding visuals. (Lair looks like a carbon copy of a game I had but i forgot its name, you can get off your dragon soar on it, have it land, everything. If you know it, please remind me and if you could post a picture. ) And the worst thing, they always say that whatever platform they are developing on is the strongest nd they are pushing it to its limits. Not true. They made Rogue Squadron. It looked good but Resident Evil and many other games looked far superior to it. Conker and Riddick on the Xbox looked superior to those.

Edit: I found the game that looks like Lair, its called Drakan (thanks to one of the posters). I had this game. Looks exactly the same from what i have seen of Lair.  They seem very similar
