it's come to the point that there are good enough games for the ps3 that playing a ps2 game is just an after thought. after this year the only games you should be playing on a ps3 is ps3 games.
10 gb to linux. it'll give you enough space to do some things. just as long as you don't plan on using it as a replacement desktop. remember that this linux has limited functionality so you won't be doing much that needs power. 10 gb should do you fine.
check the volume option in the games options. turn it up inculding your headset volume. oh and make sure that you don't have any of the voice masking on.
Is it just me or is the guitar on Rock Band A LOT easier than Guitar Hero? It seems way too easy... the only part i have a hard time with is strum the bar fast enough when some songs have you push the same button repeatedly for like 10-20 notes.ryank285
Yeah I know what you mean, but I'm thinking that since is really is made with four people in mind. So syncing four players at once means one instrument has to suffer.

5gb can't be the amount of data to hold the entire game. i'm pretty sure that the game exceeds the dual layer dvd. so i pretty sure you wouldn't want to download a 8gb+.

some of it goes to the OS and system settings
don't forget aout caching and that when ever you see the advertised amount of storage it isn't what it says. i put a 120gb hard drive in my 40gb ps3 and it says i have 111 to use. i just depends on the amount of storage space.
I pretty sure that once you played the game through once that you will get the option of playing the whole game as a single character. I mean that would be rediculous if capcom didn't let you.
