I'll make up my mind about the Wii when "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" is announced.

If it's a good port with good Wii remote control of a lightsaber in the unique duel mode for the Wii, then I'll consider it a console with a real future.

No, I'm not just a Star Wars nut. "The Force Unleashed" is a highly anticipated game with state-of-the-art graphics and physics. If the Wii can handle the game engine at all, and if the fun of a well-tailored remote control system makes up for it not looking so hot on a wide-screen TV, then Nintendo's on to something.

If it's another choppy-running weak shadow port of a game clearly designed for other consoles, with clunky controls, then Nintendo will obviously have missed a major opportunity.

While we're on the topic, it should be mentioned that even if the Wii bubble bursts, that's no guarantee that the PS3 will succeed.

Just a quick note to agree that Sony's priority was Blu-Ray, not gaming.
