I don't think they should be forced to make both if the game doesn't benefit from it.

While multiplayer simply doesn't fit in a game like Bioshock, it's a big part of Halo 3.

In Warhawk's case, they simply felt that they couldn't make a good SP campaign, so they made it MP only and sold it for a cheaper price.

All good choices in my opinion.

Warhawk really delivered.

I remember back at E306 it was a laughing stock for a while because of the motion controls, then there were rumours of the game getting cancelled followed by the multiplayer-only announcement which people shunned.

The game was probably on the same level as Genji for a while, no one seemed to care about it.
