I don't think I know anyone, personally, who buys a xbox just for shitty free to play games though either they have other games they want to play online and sub or they play largely offline single player games and don't.

If someone wanted to play fortnite and nothing else then there are plenty of options for them that are not behind the gold pay wall. So really the only reason you give a shit is because firstly forza horizon really seems to of gotten you cows something rotten and secondly suddenly you belive Sony are so consumer friendly because months late to the party they give in and "allow" the special fan base crossplay with the grownups
