The developers didn't "do little" to make people want to preorder this game. They created an epic franchise with high quality games (not including "Revelations"). But, yes, preordering a game that is coming out in 7 months based on a teaser trailer is pretty damn stupid...

I'm halfway through the game and it is a 10 so far! But, reading the user reviews has me worried about the ending (the last 15 minutes or so) which i pretty much understand it's REALLY bad. Now i really want to finish it to find out what all the fuss is about, without it being spoiled...

Why they hate mass effect 3: The endings (90%) Any other reason (10%) Personally, i LOVE a game with multiple endings, not all of which are good or heroic...

A-holes are everywhere in society, and (as this indicates) there are quite a few in the gaming community as well...

More: Maturity, Story, Puzzles (like the glyphs), Secrets, Desmond, Modern society, Variety of objectives, Secondary Characters Less: Tower Defense, Assassin Recruits, Repetitive missions, "Same thing - Different name" For me AC2 was one of the greatest games ever made... If they made Brotherhood and Revelations into one game (more story, no fooling around), it might have been better for the franchise. I just hope the leap to AC3 can be as huge as the one from AC1 to AC2, but it's gonna be very difficult to pull off...

@endorbr do the math: (per your suggestion) PC: every 3,5 years ~ $500 Console: +$10 for every game you buy and a new console for (let's say) ~$250 If you are a gamer, that's at least 10 games a year. That's $100 a year. Which is $350 more every 3,5 years. ->Verdict: PC: ~$500 every 3,5 years (+ RTS games + MMORPGs + mouse and keyboard for FPSs) Console: ~$600 every 3,5 years (+ some exclusive titles) Therefore, sir, your point about money spending is INVALID...

@endorbr i think if you have to upgrade your rig every 3-4 years and play games on PC, it's much cheaper, rather than buying a new console every 5-6 years and paying for over-priced console games (mainly PS3). @Johny_47 yeah, it's probably coming out on 2013... no shortage of strong PC titles this year though.
